Deaf News – Deaf man jailed for killing unborn baby
With cocaine, meth and rage poisoning him, Danny Ray Poplin Jr. twice sank a 13-inch butcher knife into his six-months-pregnant girlfriend’s belly to terminate a life he thought was born of an affair.
“His semen is in you,” the deaf man signed to his deaf girlfriend before the bloody attack on Dec. 31, 2006.
In the three years that followed, DNA tests would show that it was, in fact, Poplin’s own unborn child that he killed.

Deaf Film – Orange Days Episode 1
Amazing movie! It features Japanese Sign Language. A Hearing college student falls for a Deaf violinist at a college. I think it was a series. There are 11 episodes but there are 4 parts per episode. So don’t move on to Episode 2 until you see all the parts of the first one. Lo…ts of drama. I know you enjoyed the Thai “Love Story” so much that I thought you might like this one. It is very long though. But all the characters are wonderful and learn sign language for Sae (deaf girl’s name).

Deaf Drama – The Fingerspellers – The Traitor
The third of eight episodes of the sign language comedy mini-series, The Fingerspellers – all about a family of deaf gangsters who protect themselves through the power of sign language!
In this episode the family mourn Cuddles’ death. We meet a brand new character, Lyla, emotionally sign-singing a special song at his wake. Deaffather suffers a relapse of his drinking problem – although it’s not alcohol he’s addicted to. And finally, the family accuse someone of being a traitor – but who? Watch it to find out!

HEAL Miracles - ‘Deaf Mute Girl Healed’
God heals a deaf mute girl at the Heaven on Earth Apostolic Life (HEAL) Ministries crusade in Bobbili Town, India, November 2008 – I feel it is a fake cos we have no evidence whether the girl is deaf or not! Also if it was that real, we would have known about it really…yea? And why do some people still use the word mute!?
