What is the time Sir?

Deaf Comedy Film – What is the time Sir?

This is an excellent comedy from Germany. Everytime I watched this, it make me laugh and it never failed. I think its a hompage to someone else clip, and they have added a twist to it but its great!

The Power of Childhood Memories

Deaf Hot Desk – The Power of Childhood Memories

This vlog’s about the philosophy of AVT and at children’s hospital where they provided Deaf/HOH children a training class for speech and hearing skills. From age 2 to 4, I had no desire to learn any form of verbal and auditory communication. Playing and drawing were the only things I did there. I had no linguistic skills. I had no abilities to reading and writing. After my 5th birthday, I was transferred to another school with the provision of classes for Deaf students utilizing American Sign Language communication

That’s My Marshmallow

Deaf Films – That’s My Marshmallow

Tracey Salaway was born deaf but her parents did not find out until she was three years old.  She was educated in mainstream programs and did not start to sign until she attended the National Technical Institute for the Deaf/Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, New York. There she studied graphic and computer design.  Her animated short films are lyrical, compelling stories that combine dreams and humor to convey aspects of the deaf experience.

ASL students creating videos to ‘teach ASL

Deaf Hot Desk – ASL students creating videos to ‘teach ASL

As an ASL teacher I’m very concerned about the flood of videos being created by ASL students who think they are qualified to be teaching my language. Frankly, it worries me because they create and spread a lot of errors and misconceptions. This video is my comments to them and to those who are interested in learning ASL.
