Deaf Film – The Making of MY IMPORTED WIFE

Robert Hoskin, the deaf film director, filming his two-minutes teaser film version of his forthcoming new feature movie “MY IMPORTED WIFE” on Monday 1st November, 2010. Two deaf actors is Joseph A.P. Heenan and Kevin Lane sitting on chairs as they are performing before Robert’s 35mm movie camera on set in Hastings, Victoria, Australia. His production assistant is Greg Bell, as his wife Yasuko Tsuchiya filmed this ten minutes video documentary for YouTube presentation.

Deaf Film – TRANSIENTS Latest Trailer

TRANSIENTS depicts the encounter between two artists who meet at an arts festival: Sandrine (Teal Sherer), an environmental artist whose perceptions of art and nature have been greatly affected by a recent disability, and Sal (Douglas Ridloff), a deaf musician whose personal battles frequently collide with those around him. The film explores issues of ability, communication, identity, and trust as the characters confront truths about themselves and each other. This film is currently in post-production.
