An art class, a terror teacher, a daunting task, and a hard-to-impress model. Expressing love using the natural languages of different countries may seem monotonous. But one thing that broke the idea that languages are all verbal, was from a student assigned to do the Philippine’s language – a signed language, which was Filipino Sign Language. Something that made a difference. Actions speak louder than words.

Hello, my name is Signmark and I’m the world’s first Deaf hip-hop artist to release an album through an international record label, Warner Music.

How does it feel to be the world’s first Deaf to release and album through an international record company?

Well, I get a lot of this question; people always ask me, how does it feel. What if you would be the first to do something like this? Imagine me being a young boy still at school dreaming to get where I am now. People told me to get a real profession and stop dreaming. It’s quite unbelievable.

Deaf Music – I’m Deaf

D-Pan’s Deaf Musician Sean Forbe is at it again. This is far better than any other Rap music I have seen on YouTube. I mean they can hear their own voice and music, whereas Sean is deaf yet he produced AWESOME music videos! Keep up the good work man!

Shot entirely with Canon 5D MkII cameras, See What I’m Saying is a music video for the feature film of the same name seewhatimsayingmovie.com that plays through the closing credits, written for the film by the rock band Powder. This music video, filmed with deaf actors, is one of a kind as it is open captioned through which makes it accessible to all audiences. It was directed by Hilari Scarl, co-produced, filmed and edited by Jeff Gatesman and was generously sponsored by Sprint Relay.
