Discussing the TV show “Breaking Bad” (on AMC Cable channel) and its censoring of captions of all “offensive language”. Although shows are required to be captioned, there is a lot of leeway in how stations can interpret the requirements, and the FCC needs to revise their guidelines to avoid paternalistic decisions being made by stations such as AMC.
