There were many fascinating facts such as the undefeated Fanwood military band and Joe’s first experience with Deaf teachers including Bob Davila who obtained his first job as a teacher there.

Deaf Information – An Open Letter To AG Bell Association
In a response to AG Bell Association’s recent letter to teachers of the Deaf who sign with Deaf children. AG Bell are soliciting temporary memberships that offended many of us due to the exclusion of American Sign Language and labeling us teachers “hearing specialists”.

Discussing the TV show “Breaking Bad” (on AMC Cable channel) and its censoring of captions of all “offensive language”. Although shows are required to be captioned, there is a lot of leeway in how stations can interpret the requirements, and the FCC needs to revise their guidelines to avoid paternalistic decisions being made by stations such as AMC.
