Deaf Information – Explore Your Future at Rochester Institute

More than 200 high school students who are deaf or hard of hearing attended Explore Your Future at Rochester Institute of Technology’s National Technical Institute for the Deaf in July. They spent a week in classrooms getting hands-on experience to get a taste of various majors and careers available to them, from engineering to computer science, business, computer graphics and investigative science.

The point of this video was to prove to people I wasn’t lying or exaggerating in the first place about me wanting attention and lying about people hating me that i was deaf over the years. It was just something I needed to share that was all. And since than that channel has blocked all comments and people from commenting which goes to show I proved my point.

Ben Sophal is from Cambodia. He’s 20 years old and is deaf. He only started learning Sign Language when he was 12 years old. He’s now training to be a moto mechanic. Deaf Film – Signage: A Short Gay Film

Signage is a little slice of life about two forty-ish gay friends who dish about getting old before going out for a night at the clubs. Our hero has just given himself a makeover and, at the bar, he connects with a young deaf man. Much of the short film is told in sign language, with subtitles, and this adds a nice spin to the oh-so-familiar courting rituals…

Deaf Star  – We Interrupted MI NEWS 26 and took over!

We took over MI News 26 and interrupted their broadcast with “We Interrupt This Program” a song and music video to be released on Sean Forbes’ debut album Perfect Imperfection coming out this fall.

That morning before we checked out to go back home, that’s when we were approached by a woman who wanted to talk about God. One thing to add about this – after our conversation, she asked Jes directly if he’s deaf or hearing. Then asked if we are friends or something. Jes stated that we are together, she went “oh okay” then left.
